Predicting Sales to Boost Market Share, Profitability and Operations

The company faced significant challenges in generating highly accurate forecasts for market intelligence and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) related to sell-out. This lack of precision created opportunities for improvement in production planning, commercial target setting and cost of customer acquisition (CAC) efficiency.

Our role was to deliver a solution that consolidated various data sources (historical data, market behavior, inventory levels, transactional data, external market research, etc.) into a unified and accurate sales forecast for each product and point of sale (PDV).

Our goal was to deliver a medium-term, high-accuracy sales forecast at a highly granular level (SKU + Point of Sale), fine-tuning the engine to account for factors such as market share, profitability, seasonality and promotions.
